Her career journey includes working as a clerk in the district appraisal office in Lamesa, TX, where she handled various customer service tasks. Joanne also served as a deputy clerk in the State of Colorado’s court system, where she further developed her skills in public service and attention to detail.

Joanne’s commitment to excellence is evident in her professional life and her personal endeavors. A talented pianist and singer, she volunteers at her local church, where she plays piano and teaches a Sunday morning Bible study class. Her love for the mountains, reading, and spending quality time with her husband of nearly 37 years, along with their four dogs and one cat, is a testament to her caring and nurturing spirit. Though she and her husband don’t have children, they’ve opened their hearts and home to three foreign exchange student daughters and have provided respite care for foster parents over the years.
